Rotorua Parasailing takes off!
Dear John,
Kawarau Jet Rotorua is about to launch a new adventure product "Rotorua Parasailing". The Parasailing will operate from the existing Kawarau Jet base at the Rotorua City Lakefront.

Ross and Fiona Kelly, owners of Kawarau Jet Rotorua, have spent a lot of time researching this new product, including a trip to Australia to view and purchase a purpose built boat that was bought back to New Zealand for a full refit and re brand.
Trips will be ready to take off from Late November 2009, just in time for the busy season. Concessions will be available for two or more passengers.
We will be sending you more information in the near future and are in the process of setting up a landing page on www.kjetrotorua.co.nz but to get our rates, terms and conditions please contact us.
Feedback from the trade and consumer has been fantastic and this will be another Rotorua leading adventure product that contributes to making Rotorua the adventure capital of the North Island.
Kjet and Pure Cruise Combo going well
The new Kawarau Jet and Pure Cruise New Zealand Combo has been going very well.
The journey begins from the Kawarau Jet base at the Rotorua City Lakefront when you step onto a legendary Kawarau Jet boat. From there you will take an adrenaline pumped jet boat ride across Lake Rotorua taking in key historical points on the way. Pass by Mokoia Island before entering the Ohau Channel, rich in birdlife where we even serve you a hot toddy on the way (winter only) to Lake Rotoiti.
Once through the Ohau Channel it’s back to more thrills and spins before arriving at the beautiful Manupirua hot pools which are only accessible by water. A perfect spot to soak in the many natural mineral hot pools or swim in the lake. The pools are also where guests join the Skipper and crew of Pure Cruise, aboard ‘Tiua’ the luxury 53 foot sailing catamaran for a 2 ½ hour cruise of scenic Lake Rotoiti.

Guests will have the opportunity to participate in sailing the yacht, the Skipper is happy to hand over the wheel, ropes and winches to guests – after they’ve had a quick lesson of course! Or simply relax and enjoy the pleasure of sailing in pure comfort, with fine cuisine and premium New Zealand beverages from the fully stocked bar. You can recline and watch a beautiful natural environment rich in cultural history slip by under full sail, it’s simply stunning!
Pure Cruise berths in Okawa Bay where guests disembark and are met by vehicles for the short journey back to Rotorua. Click here for rates and information.
