Welcome to the last Waikite Valley Thermal Pools Update for 2009, and what a year it has been. The new developments over the year have made a big difference to the appearance and experience we now offer.
Situated 25 minutes south of Rotorua off State Highway Five, Waikite Valley Thermal Pools is the perfect place to relax and unwind all year round. The pools are open 7 days (except on Christmas Day) from 10.00am till late.
We have just finished surveying our customers over the last few months and this is just a snap shot of what they have told us.

Campground filling up over Christmas and New Year
Adjoining the pool complex is a 20 site campground with both Powered Sites and Non-Powered Sites available. There are shower, laundry & kitchen facilities available for you to use during your stay.
We also offer our campers free unlimited access to the outdoor pool complex so you can enjoy the luxurious ‘living waters’ of Waikite Valley. Don’t forget to take advantage of our Pukeko in a Ponga Tree Café and experience some fresh Kiwi Cuisine while you are here.
Because we are so handy to other attractions in the area, we are an ideal spot for those passing through travelling by van or those who are tenting.
We have just finished building a small drying room in the campground so campers can have a warm towel for their first swim of the morning.
