Many passengers have been taking in the remarkable landscape, history and legends of the area and enjoying an abundance of unique wildlife mixed with adventure and naturally heated bathing pools in what has now become the legendary Riverjet "The Squeeze"
The winter months have not been putting visitors off, in fact the naturally heated thermal water on "The Squeeze" has been a constant 27-30 degrees celsius throughout the winter much to the surprise of visitors who have experienced this unique natural attraction.

Riverjet "The Squeeze" has purchased New Zealand made and designed wetsuits for passengers who would like a little more warmth and protection from the elements.
Along with the current footwear protection provided we now supply all the comforts to make the RiverJet "The Squeeze" an unforgettable experience.
OFF THE WATER
Ultimate Heli-Jet Adventure
New Zealand Riverjet and HeliPRO have combined to offer guests the best Rotorua has to offer By Water - By Land - By Air
The adventure begins with a scenic drive through lush farmland to Rainbow Mountain and a short bushwalk to Crater Lake to view an explosion crater against a backdrop of bare brown, orange and red steaming cliffs and view boiling mud pools.
Then guests arrive at New Zealand Riverjet and experience a 45 minute scenic jet boat ride on the mighty Waikato River (NZ’s longest river). Orakei Korako awaits and passengers depart to explore this geothermal wonderland, one of the largest and most amazing silica terraces in the world.
Back on the Riverjet boat, the 30 minute return trip is even more adventurous as passengers experience the world famous spins and thrills of the Hamilton Jet, the world’s best invention.
A helicopter awaits at the Riverjet base to whisk you away along the volcanic fault line over Wai-O-tapu Thermal Wonderland and Waimangu Volcanic Valley and landing on the iconic Mount Tarawera Volcano. A short walk around this amazing natural attraction to appreciate the full force of the 1886 eruption which killed more than 100 people.
Cruising Overland, the tailor-made cruise ship package, is now open for trade to make bookings for cruise ship passengers arriving into the Port of Tauranga.
Passengers begin their journey from the Port of Tauranga and travel through farmland on their way to Rotorua. Once in Rotorua passengers can take in scenic geothermal activity, lush flora and unique fauna. Highlights of the tour are:
